i just put some on my 08 had the same problem. i just thought that they were suppose to come with gaskets and clamps and that i didn't get them. but the packing slip does not mention that they were included. the instructions says you don't need to use the stock gasket and clamps maybe its a miss...

i just put the cannon slip-ons with vance and Hines header i had the same problem had to use the stock clamps and gaskets mounted up just fine. however the instructions that came with them said i didn't have to use the clamps or gaskets but the packing slip didn't include new gaskets or clamps...

i was under the impression i needed a close base map to start with but if thats not the case i suppose i could just use any map.

i have a 08 orange and black with vance and hines competition series header with yosh rs-3 slip ons. a bmc race filter. i have a pcv with autotune and am looking for a base map to start from. on the papers that came with the header it stats that maps are available on their website but could not...

i have the rs 3 slip ons i like them but i wish i would of bout the full system instead so i just bought the vance and hines header sorry no pics bike is away for winter
