    Finally!

I am glad that you are so happy with the bike. I take great pride in the care I give my vehicles and it was a pleasure to sell it to someone who appreciates it instead of just some punk with some cash. I am also glad that it arrived as it left. Even the driver said "wow, is that thing brand...

    Finally!

I also forgot to mention that the PAIR is already been removed so you can go with any pipe setup wyou want and don't have to remove it yourself. No worries!

    Oil Light

My '03 never had to be topped off, ever. Something is not right with yours, or you have ragged the engine. No way should it loose that much oil in such a short time. No way no how. Either it is leaking out and you aren't aware or it is burning it.

    Fond farewell

Yeah i am sorry to see it go but I chose to prioritze some expenses and got rid of an unecessary toy (sorry, Busa). I will be back another time when finances better allow it. Bacharles, Daily Direct keeps all the fluids also, he just rode it up to the truck lift and pushed it in, strapped it...

    Fond farewell

I live in Wytheville. I have a friend from Richlands and know a few others from that area. Nice area really, good for riding (except in winter of course).

    Wave disc with logo

The rear is cool but i would not use the fronts. If you want cool looking rotors that actuall work better than stock, buy wave rotors from Galfer or Braking like BusaFever says. Can't go wrong.

    Fond farewell

Well folks the Busa is gone. It was picked up this morning headed for Houston. Sad day for me, a great day for Ted Biele (thanks). You really forget how awesome your bike is until you see someone else pull away on it. Wow what a ride! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and also have really...

    Undertail arrived.

Actually I own the thread. Your bike is still in my basement (he he). Nah, really I can't wait until they come and pick it up both for your sake and mine. I am also in suspense and want to cancel my insurance on it and get a refund. Of course there is no chance of me riding the Busa in the near...

    Undertail arrived.

Cool beans Ted. What kind did you get? Does it require the undertail be trimmed? If so I have a spare pre-trimmed undertail that you might could use and it would save you from cutting up the original. Most undertails require major trimming of the stock undertail. As for the bike, it is ready to...

    small pleasure

I guess it is all relative but after you get the model, the tools, and paint supplies, you could easily be in for $100 or more. And then considering that many people do not have the experience or patience to build it properly you may end up with a $100 piece of crap. I just suggest that you...

    small pleasure

My frame did take to the paint even over the chrome. I sprayed I think 2 thin coats and it looks great. I also used a semi gloss for the frame/swingarm so as to not be as shiny as the black I used for the fairings. I used nothing but Tamiya paints on mine. Cheap paint equals cheap looking...

    small pleasure

I built the Tamiya model. It took several evenings but I think I did a pretty good job ( I have modelling experiance as a kid - yeah it is geeky - so what). Anyhow I made mine an all black '02 LE, even painted the frame/swingarm etc. I put a lot of details in it but of course I have no pics of...

    Michelin Pilot Sport Hpx

I thought HPX's have been replaced by Pilot Powers. May be why their supply is dwindling.
