Top Tip: visit your local farm store, buy a large syringe and some tubing. Thread the tubing down from the seat/tail opening and you are able to suck out fluid, and also add without removing the tail fairing. Note the rubber in the syringe doesnt handle the brake fluid well and should be rinsed...

Check for disconnected vacuum lines, throttle bodies askew, things like that which would cause an air leak. It sounds like an air leak if it has to idle at a high rpm.

Pull the fuel rail/injectors and crank it over. Verify you have FLOW. Think of a fire hose with the nozzle closed... There's a lot of pressure, but zero flow. Hope this helps.
