there are different supercharger designs out there that allow more of this then you know ;) variable speed super chargers are available and more in design stages with even more control so maybe the majority has more control but not all ;)

few ?s 1. how are you controlling boost? 2. what is the chassis setup? 3. what rules you going by cause superchargers are under nos rules in mirock and nhdro so 70" wheelbase for weight is easy to hit working on my own setup and have a few directions I am working on

I got descent mileage out of my first one Im building for prostreet now and that is their chain of choice

I never got mine to last much over a few weeks I went to a drz2 and just learned to keep it clean and oiled but im track only now

working on a few more mods cut all the tabs off and the cross member behind the neck the rest of the way off making pass through ports for the fuel lines in the rear cross member and just shaving what is allowed off the bike

did a little work on the frame shortnecked frame and modded the top tree to fit the 1k stem shortneck stem

some of it is the design change in the 2 sets that makes it weaker also

I think a Gen 1 bore with the 83mm would be fine and yes gen 2 are weak and prone to crack, have seen a few different examples of failures

So far it seems a difference of .4 deg in chain angle between a 16/40 vs a 17/43 i think those were the tooth counts

67 not all run at this point but close This doesnt include the spare motors in the shop wich would put me near 87 or so And always adding vehicles

Dennis get me measurements of the gear diameters and ill cad them up for you On prostreet bikes they run 19 or 20 front tooth and 48-50 rear tooth sprockets the larger rear does help in a way with adding traction by adding down force on the rear tire but this is hard to explain
