    Back To The 70's

Had had one like this new for my 21st in 1970: Cost £120 (about $60 then). We have a C90 in a local shop for £2500 at the moment....some investment. If only I had known then what I know now - in more ways than 1! It topped out at 60 down hill with a tail wind!

Love The Color Wish The Busa Logo Stood Out A Bit 2016 Red

Mine is same colour. I quite like the understated black graphic. With the single colour Busas, a contrasting colour works well. But with the busy red/silver a bright graphic would clash IMO. I think Suzuki got it just right with the black. If you do buy a new decal might be an idea to tack on...

    My First 2000 Miles!

I find the safest way to check oil at home is by sitting on the bike and using a mirror on a stick. Alternatively, place a mirror on garage wall in appropriate place. Out and about, ask someone to do it whilst you sit on the bike. Just my way.

First Bike.. First Busa. First Everything

Wow a Busa for a first bike. It's a bit like having a hooker for a first girl friend! Watch the wheels - just before they pull out on you, the wheels start to move out a bit. Brake or get the hell out of there before they move. Watch it in the wet - drain covers are lethal. After break in, get...

    Trump..... Yea!

Trump said he was going to break this mould. Some Americans thought that too.

    Trump..... Yea!

As an 'outsider' I have always viewed Americans as quite clever people. Trump is not the best ambassador in this respect. However he has started to tone down a bit so by the end of his first term he might start getting things done. Perhaps presidents aren't as powerful as they used to be?

    Yoshi Internal Baffles

Too long to wait! Took the pipes apart today and completely removed the inner baffles. Much more grunt and seems faster, particularly top end, not that I can go over about 6k revs yet. At least this mega bike now sounds a bit more like one!

    Yoshi Internal Baffles

Yes I doubt there will be any issues. From my point of view if it runs not quite so well I can always pop them back in (silicone maybe).

    Yoshi Internal Baffles

    It's only the warranty really

    Yoshi Internal Baffles

I have a Hepta Force Yoshi on my new Z. I have taken off the rear baffle but want more sound. Inside the link is this baffle with a tiny easy to break weld freeing the pipe. It should still have back pressure from the cat. Shall I wait for 600 service before removing?

    not happy reading "busa problems"

Steady on now, old chap, compliments aside, my Wide Glide has ridden like a dream for the last 12 months. Had a few teething problems on the Busa when I first got it used at 13k miles but a new battery, all changed fluids and attention to rusty fixings has made it not half bad. Moral of the...

    not happy reading "busa problems"

People write on forums about things that interest them. Problems tend to get the keys tapping more than contentment. Just cos negatives get posted does not mean a bike is unreliable. It's just human nature to moan. The Busa is overwhelmingly a good bike so problems will be few. Owner abuse is...

Any Idea How To Keep The Bike In C Mode?

The Busa in C mode reminds me of....er....um...my Bandit! Hey that's a good idea, buy a Bandit and you have C mode all the time! It's all in the throttle as said above - if you educate your wrist the Busa is all bikes rolled into one. However I hope there are not many of us out there riding...

    Local Bike Meet England

The disabled riders round here tend to have converted trikes. One local guy rides with no legs - amazing! The Can-Ams tend to be playthings of rich non bikers IMO.
