Well, it's a sad day, but I sold my hayabusa two weeks ago. It was my third one and probably my favorite bike of all time. (I've owned a total of 31 different models of motorcycles).
Replace it and a Vulcan 2000 for a Honda F6B.
Thought it would kind of balance some of the pros and cons...
Before break down it was about $120-$140 FedEx to UPS. After break down into much smaller (shorter) box, shipping via FedEx came to $36.56. Ahhh much cheaper. I can live with that.
I thought the Grey Hound suggestion was a joke. Now I see it is not. Good to know. How exactly does that...
That was my next step. Between all the fees, paypal and ebay and shipping I might as well have recycled them. I hate hanging onto old exhaust as I have a shed full of them. Selling local is so limited and shipping is a pain.
Now they are in pieces and I will ship them out as planned for a...
Yup, that will do it. Didn't want to have to take it apart as their are two crossovers and lots of welded parts. Pain in the butt, but I have it into manageable size pieces now. The mufflers even came off the headers easier than some have in the past.
Thanks for the advice.
All good.
I just sold a set of stock exhaust off of a cruiser I also own. I specified free shipping, thinking it would be around $50 or so. I'm using ebay and getting estimates of $120 via Fedex and even more through UPS. Holy $&*t!!!
Anybody got any advice on the cheapest way to ship a full...
Is there anyone who lives in central NY, Syracuse area, that has a Corbin rider seat.
I want to buy one, but would appreciate the opportunity to try one out (on my bike) so that I know I like it am not wasting a sizeable chunk of change.
So, I guess it's two questions... 1)do you live in...
Dennis, thanks for the advice.
I had checked colorite and that is how I figured out that the 02 and 07 were differenet colors. I'm just wondering if the hump is perhaps a generic black to cut cost if they use if for other two tone bikes.
The bike is my baby so if they make a matching one...
I just picked up my third 2007 black busa. Literally the same year/color combo each time. Apparently I like it. This one will stay in the stable forever!!
I have owned 19 bikes and this is my favorite of all time, thus the reason I am back in the busa family, again. :beerchug:
I have...
Not really an exciting topic question...
but how can you edit an existing classified ad on this forum?
I am trying to update a price reduction, but it won't let me edit the original post.
I did do a reply with the adjusment, but I'd rather change the subject and ad.
Help?
Andy, PM me your phone # and I'll give you a call when we are down your way.
Dragula, thanks. I would appreciate any info. that you can get from your friend who lives there.
I went about 15 years ago with about a dozen bikers. It was fun and scenic, as Chrisjp pointed out. That was more...
My wife and I have decided to go to the Poconos in Pennsylvania the second week of October. Anybody have some first hand experience and recommendations for a good motorcycle getaway? We would enjoy scenic views, water is always nice, some hiking, possibly an indoor water park, but not a...
I just test drove a crf80 f, wow it's no busa, such a small motor with very limited spacing between gears. I can see how the automatic would be more fun for a youngster. At least initially.
I am considering buying a dirt bike for my son's 10th birthday. He currently has an electric Razor dirt bike that tops out at 17mph. What suggestions do you have? I am considering a Yamaha PW80 3 speed auto trans or a Honda CRF80 F with 5 speed standard transmission. My son is on the smaller...
