Just back from a great trip to the Le Mans round of the MotoGP with a couple of mates. Picked up a lot of the WWII historic sites in Normandy en route.
The auld Busa never missed a beat, the new Pirelli Angel GT hardly shows any signs of the 1000 miles that are on it, albeit at a reduced pace...
I'll post a report on the full WWII sites and Le Mans GP when we get home later in the week but there was a huge amount of bikes there, spot the Busa ;-)
A big tank and a Sherman
Less than an hour from the track here, it is pissin down and tomorrow ain't much better. My money is on #46 in tricky conditions.
Now to find the wet gear...
Got the GT's on the Busa now and first impressions are that they don't feel any different to the ST to be fair. I expect better mileage and the cuts in the tyre are further apart which means more rubber on the contact patch, hardly noticeable.
I changed from 190/50 to a 190/55 and it feels a...

Try them out and let me know will ye :beerchug:
I have about 500 mile left on my Angel ST's at the minute and I have the GT's waiting to go on. They are better on all fronts from what I read and I have been happy with the ST's
Ahh, correct the gearing would be different on a new vs worn tyre
Both done runs were done the same day so there is no differential there, must do it with a new tyre and see if there is any diff
Not a clue, was sometime last year and mileage wouldn't bother me for a Dyno run unless it was brand new (wouldn't wanna rip up a new one) or if it was proper f*cked.
I'm a firm believer that you can prove anything with facts
See the below Dyno run with the 186 limiter and soft cut in blue and without in Red
Restricted 290kph or 180.1mph
Unrestricted 305kph or 189.5mph
If you assume the the restricted reading should read 186mph then the...
