The pivot bolt for the rear cam chain guide has loosened enough to come in contact with the sprag sprocket for the starter. Spinning fast enough it melted the upper case and cut about a half inch away like I took a die grinder to the case. Ugly
are there any bone stock right out of the box bike that can go 200mph? All limited to 186mph?
or have the power to go 200mph if they did not have the speed restriction?

How often should I be changing my fork oil. I use the bike just about every day. Sometimes twenty miles, sometimes a hundred miles, just depends on my work load. It's a 2008 Orange and Black.

I removed my clutch cover and was surprised to see the first fiber plate (outer most fiber plate) was not in the same slot/position as all the other fiber plates.
Is this condition correct?

Another Busa rider told me that a Generation 2 airbox will fit on a Generation 1 bike. He said it will slightly increase performance. Of course he has an extra one.

I had the same problem with my 2002' I switched fuel tanks with a friend who has a 2003 and that fixed the problem. So I replaced the fuel pump in my tank, still had the problem. Next replaced the regulator and filter, that solved the problem.

I'm experiencing the same exact symptoms on my 02', started about 35000 miles. Have not decided what I'm going to do about it. What is it worth selling her with this condition? It's a split the cases fix no mater how you slice it or dice it.
