Quick Vid On My New '16 Black/gray Busa

As promised, a quick vid taken during my second ride on my 'Busa. It's an old Hero 1 gopro so please pardon the lack of clarity. The mount is a hard aluminum piece under the mirror mount without any damping so there is a lot of vibration and jello. Hope to add a piece of rubber soon. Will...

oh no! I'm just now seeing your message. I apologize. Since you didn't use the "quote" or "reply" option, I never got a notification nor email about your post. I'm sending you an email in a little bit. No worries. Understood. You're right, I just responded to your post. Didn't know a reply...

Welcome to the forum Jenny Busa and Howard Morris. :welcome: Howard, my wife still thinks I'm riding the 2012 gixxer (blue) I took in trade for a muscle car project. I think if she saw my black beauty, how much bigger she is and how much more power she has, she'd be even less "tickled" than...

Yikes! Even though I'm pretty good at detailing, I'm not sure I can get those scratches seen in the first pic to go away... I have a DA polisher and the proper abrasives (I hope:rolleyes:)... I might take a chance as a project since I enjoy making things shiny. :D Not to be disrespectful to a...

For those of you who are interested, here are some better pics of my new baby. Taken at the dealership the day I fell for her and made the deal. As shiny as she looks, she had a coating of dust all around, fingerprints on the backrest and tank and a few minor scratches on same. She should...

Thanks for the input Nosbig. I haven't heard from mabupa so maybe he changed his mind. More research I guess. Thanks again all. :beerchug:

Thanks everyone for your input. I have also read that Puig makes a bit heavy duty screen that resists flapping at higher speeds and the cracking that happens with the thinner ZG's, but is their ST screen comparable in size and wind deflection capability of the ZG? :beerchug:

Sorry bigdev. Spring cleaning and helping my daughter clean her car killed the day. Soon I hope.

Understood. I can see how a tank bag would keep you from looking through the screen. If you could take a pic through it that would be fine. To be honest, sitting on my 'busa, and like you say, I'm so tall I don't think I'll ever really be able to tuck down far enough for full coverage. But...

Progress update: I had hoped to get the Puig hugger and yoshi fender eliminator on today, but decided to take the ugly reflectors off first. Of course the fronts came off easy, but when I got the first rear one off, I found out the bracket was held by nuts on the other side, which promptly fell...

Understood. No worries on the typo mabupa. I think your ST screen may be a good idea. I do want to do a bit more research before swapping out the stock screen but if the price is right, it might be worth a chance as long as it's scratch free. Also, I don't know how far my belly is...

Hey Jermzfree! Thanks for weighing in. Appreciated. Yes, I read great things about the MRA Vario, but a bit overkill for me...as mentioned above, I don't plan on doing long distance touring. Don't really need a vacuum but a reduction in buffeting would be good. Bottom line though is I...

Thanks for the input on the screen. I actually bought a ZGST for the gixxer before realizing the bike was too small for me. I didn't include it with the trade as it is brand new and I gave away a new set of tires (Q3's), oil change using Amsoil 10w40, oil and air filters, gixxer boys license...
