i got a lithium battery and it still happens. its not a issue and its addressed in the manual. its called compression lock. here a video explaining it better.
Just so you all are aware, the Ah on a lithium battery is not the same as ah on an acid, agm , or gel battery. 10ah lithium is like 60 ah regular battery
For hot start trouble the engine is hard to turn over when warm and been sitting for a few min. This is know as compression lock. Here is the process stated in the manual to relieve some compression and start the bike.
Or you could kill all that noise and just buy a stronger battery
I know this thread is old but something was said that bothers me. Yes its diesel oil. But low rpm........... not even. Dont forget the turbos which are lubricated off of the engines oil turn in excess of 20,000 rpm. With that being said i use it in my gen 1 and gen 3 no problems.
The manual states to open the throttle as you crank when it does don't. Work like a charm for me. Some bikes have decompression valves but our dont. The reason it does it is because the the warmer a battery get the less current it put out making is harder to turn a warm engine. Opening the...
Yes there are quite a few of us that experienced this. Supposedly suzuki is looking into it. Mine does it to. Seem to be random. And I can tell you it's even worse if you install a airshifter. It falls flat on its ass the power kick in like a mad house
It states in the owners manual when this happen to open up the throttle as you crank, worked for me. Had this happen twice. The engine has alot of compression.
