I still have the factory battery in my bike. It's an 06 with seventy thousand miles on it. The last ten thousand has been in a24 volt setup. On the battery tender everyday after riding and has never not started. Even with bike hot the 1507@ 14 to 1 comp starts. It seems I'm lucky. I considered...
Cam already sent to web. The cam has 10 thousand miles from last summer. Seat pressure was just about 63#. One lobe was worn worse than the rest. That's why I sent it to be repaired and it was web that told me all the lobes had wear so I needed to have the whole cam done. They only charged me...
The cams are hard weld from web. Complete year down is right now, it's in pieces as we speak. Everything else was perfect, even the crank bearings look pristine and its a 1507 motor. Rod bearings, perfect. Is there a diff cam that I should be using. I thought hardwelds were harder than billet...
I've looked and tried to see what it could be. There are no other problems in the motor. I use 10/40 a amsoil and change it religiously. I've thought about trying a diff oil with more zinc or phosphorus or something. Anybody got any recommendations. It's a big bore motor daily driven. Usually...
I figured that would stir the put pretty good. I told my daughter about that post and told her it was going to upset some people. I still stand by what I said tho. Has anyone ran their stock bike against one? If you haven't tried one then you can't speak on it. Go try to outrun one and then...
Do not under estimate what the 1199 will do in a roll on. It will easily leave any stock busa, zx 14 or 1000 in the dust and I do mean easily. I ride very well and have run against one of these. I've ran against many visas,zx 14s and 1000s and the 1199 stays closer than any of them. I am only...
I run a 1507 and have no problems. Put 10000 street and strip miles on it last summer. Yes that 10 thousand. Putting a ported head on it now. While it's out for the head we pulled the pan cuz I wanted to see the bearings as I was concerned about the stroke eating the bearings. After looking at...
A year and a half ago I spent several thousand dollars with ape.thought of going with Brock parts but my builder liked ape. I must say it was deff the best choice I could have made. Without going into detail I will say the professionalism and attention to customer care is second to none in my...
I've ran one, falters and yana shiki rotors. I street ride and drag race. I have no complaints with any of the three I've used. Can't say one is any better or last any longer then the other. If you like the look of the tabs shiki ones then buy them. They are fine
