@Grayd i never! have seen such a shift fork that looks like it has been gnawed on by rats/mice my advice would be to install a complete, used/preowned and NOT mistreated replacement gearbox including the shift drum ´n forks.

the 6th gear is crap also the gear at its rh - watch the dogs - as far as i can see they are also damaged . load down/get the gen2 microfiches and you´ll understand what parts u´ll need .

they should as far as i know, the fork is the same at gen2 and gen3 what i don´t know is, if the discs ar different in their outer dia - eventually the gen3 discs are a lill bit bigger (10mm?). then u need some 5mm-spacers between caliper and fork´s "fist" (caliper holders)

the /55r17 brings more agility because it lifts the rear round 10 mm so the "Eifel"-area is ur most beloved one then .

looks 99% sure like gen1 BUT what year i cant say because from ´99 to ´01 they changed a bit

man? sorry but how low is ur knowledge about the gen1s ? that bolt, like 99.9% of all other pieces, are similar through ALL years - ´99 - ´07 i looked at partzilla and found it in the part of the ´06 ;-) art-no is lill bit different but i sware that bolt will fit : 09103-12067 so ALL...

@KieranJ1992 check ALL connectors - from generator to main harness (3-pt.-conn. under the tank, keft side) - from harness to regulator (5-pt.-conn. at the regulator) and check also - ALL - the wires if they are still as flexible as usual or hava a hard insulation caused by too much heat...
