It seems to be the consensus that If you're anywhere around or over 6 feet tall, the DB moves the wind from your chest to right at your head and it gets noisier??...That's the main reason I haven't bought one yet...I'm 6'1 and have pretty much gotten used to the wind now, but I do like the look...

I was in yuor same shoes just a couple months back. I wanted loud, tried taking off the mid-pipe and running it naked like you...and it was just TOO loud for me...and I WANTED loud. I bought some used 2bros M-5's on here from another member and I love them. Nice deep rumble at idle but doesn't...
