After 12 years/65,000 miles of ownership, I traded in my 2017 Busa for a new GSX-R1000R because a Gen-3 Busa wasn't released. The GSXR is nice, but I think I should've gotten a current-generation Busa instead of the Gixxer. The Busa definitely has more character and is a better all-around...

12 years and 65,000 miles on a Gen 1 and it never left me stranded. Towards the end it was running a bit rough, and I was a little stressed, but she held in there until I sold her.
