What wires are the 'Cold' and 'Hot' side of the brake? Isn't the cold side simply the ground? Couldn't I just hook that wire to the ground?

I did the bung on the fuel pump housing. Worked great. I figured it was much cheaper to mess up a fuel pump housing than a tank if I messed up.

It all depends on your cruising riding position as well. I was fine with a stock windscreen and stock bars. As soon as I added the Buell pegs and Helibars though my riding position changed. Oh the millions of variable's!!!

Anyone know where I can get (Y99) rated tires? I'm thinking of doing the Mojave Mile and if I read their website correctly, it states that if I want to run 200+ (yes, bike mods would be needed to do this) I need tires approved for it. Specifically it stated that Y99 would not work, but (Y99)...

+1 I can't think of any other reason it would do that. But I would definitely have the shop do it.

It only takes the chain breaking at speed once to really ruin your day. Just ask my 06 that is sitting in my garage with a shattered case. Then again, only one of those heavy duty case savers would have saved it and not the stock plastic chain gaurd. But I think the gaurd may have potentially...

That about where I am. I'm doing the track day at the Busa Stampede this year to learn some technique. Should help me get the feel of how to do it with minimum risk.

I think it's kind of cool. It the suspension and frame looks solid enough, it would be great fun to shoe hon a busa motor into it.
