sorry to not be of help, but I'm running the same style stands on my busa with a 1" drop and I don't have any problems...I'd suspect the stands themselves are sticking or something...

Owned a set of Trackstar gloves, they were awesome up until I wrecked on the freeway...even rolling down the asphalt at 60mph, they did their job and kept my hands perfectly safe! :) Would still highly encourage you to get a pair of riding pants to help protect your knees and thighs...only...

sweet! We're a pretty friendly group there, pretty sure that Scar and a few others at least are on here as well :)

HJC in 3rd place behind the much more expensive Arai and Shoei...guess I'm not surprised, though in my humble opinion, the HJCs are a better value for riders that don't have the kind of cash the other two brands demand.
