If it was a manufacture defect, shouldn't Roaring Toys do something about it? Someone usually answers the phone there, so you should get a hold of someone.
How low is the bike and how much + over on the swingarm? Wonder if the bike is too low or if you should have opted for a longer swingarm. Regardless, if that is a complete RT OSD kit, it should not have any issues.
Too many options available, but I know to stay away from Ebay/China lowering links...
Is Soupy's still the go to place? Is the Roaring Toyz adjustable links comparable?
Anyone using SAE Outlaw links which uses the factory bolts...
Planning on purchasing a set as spare for the Gen1 I recently bought, I and wanted to see if one can easily identify OEM vs aftermarket. Here are a few pictures of the inside of the side fairings and nose. There are stamped numbers/letters, and one of the barcodes seem to be a valid part number.
Vegas, the bikes are in SoCal. Was going to make the trip tomorrow, but the '03 sold today. Don't like the story on the '07 and the '09 hasn't returned my message. The search continues...
Not yet, the bikes are not local to me so it's not easy. After talking to both sellers, now leaning towards the '03. But, I found another Gen1 ('07 all black with 6800 miles for $4600). Making plans to check out both bikes...
Thank you all for the replies!
Considering both are in good condition and properly maintained, which one is a better buy? A black Gen1 ('03 with 4700 miles) for $4000, or a white Gen2 ('09 with 5900 miles) for $6500? Both have power commander and exhaust.
