When/how often to change oil on a new engine?

More food for thought. Here's a pretty complete test... https://www.motorcyclistonline.com/busting-engine-break-in-myth/

    Oil hose

Not sure what year your 'Busa is but this looks like the same hose on my '12. It's an oil hose and looks like Motosport here in the USA has it. Suzuki OEM Motorcycle Parts | MotoSport I believe it directs oil in to the head for the cam journals. Decreasing the fitting hole diameter will reduce...

    Gen3 - couldn't be more disappointed

I think you are missing my point. I was using the Gold Wing as an example of what could be done. Spend the development money for the complex systems on things most experienced riders will use. I think you would come out even money. I'm 65 and coming off many other brands of sport bikes. Why a...

    Gen3 - couldn't be more disappointed

Nailed it Bro. I sold my mint 3500 mile '12 limited a while ago thinking I would upgrade to a 2021. I bought it as a new left over in '13 for $13,000 out the door. I did get my money back though. Now that the new one is out I do think you will see dealers hot to unload the Gen 2's they still...

    Gen3 - couldn't be more disappointed

I think the biggest disappointment for me is the lack of weight reduction. That's free horsepower and think the money should have been spent there. I really could care less about all the electronics, other then the cruise control. The bad news for me is I sold my mint 3500 mile '12 limited...

    throttlemeister, who's got em

I have this on mine, https://kaoko.com/product/suz200-08/ I have used throttle-mister in the past and like them but on the 'Busa this is a little cleaner look and no washers to shim.

Absolute Safest And Easiest Way To Get The (fat) Busa Onto A Rear Stand.

This works nicely too. 5/8" steel bar thru the swing arm pivot. I wrap it with painters masking tape to hold it snug.

Suzuki Recall Jan 2016 Includes Gen 2 Busa

UPDATE: I called Suzuki and told them my bike is down for this and I was getting ready to buy one when I got my letter. I asked if I could just get the part and do it myself. No go, so I went to a couple of part houses on the 'net I frequent and they said the old Rectifier number, 32800-15H10...

Suzuki Recall Jan 2016 Includes Gen 2 Busa

Just curious, has anyone tried using the 2013 and up Rectifier PN: 32800-10G40 as a replacement? Looks like it has a larger heat sink and heavier wires. It would be nice to do this once.

Low mileage 2012 for $11K, or NEW 2007 for $8K

Same here, I bought my 2012 in April 2013. It was in the crate and a Limited Edtion for $10,000 plus tax and set up. There are 2012's in the showrooms right now and I have seen all three colors in my area, southern CA.

Throttle body synch, how sweet it is :)

Gents, I am using the Heal Tech Suzuki OBD tool and software. It comes with everything you need in a nice case and you get life time software updates. Loads into your lap top, connects to the white plug on the bike. It does everything the SDS box does with a black screen format, and up to date...

What kind of gas do you use?

Chevron Premium, best we get out here in sunny Cal. is 91. Only gas I use, Chevron is what the big three use for emission testing because it burns the cleanest. 1988 Honda CRX with 258,000 miles and original fuel injectors, burned Chevron Premium for most of it's life. My 26 year old Corvette...

    throttle body sync

I have a Morgan Carbtune, made in England (not China) and comes with a beautiful padded carrying case. High quaility and contains no liquid, it has clear tubes filled with stainless steel rods which are dampened. It is very easy to use becase the weight and dampening effect of the rods keeps...

2012 LE's Photo check in and whats your build number?

Greetings Gents, First Hayabusa, 1000 miles, motors broken in and all serviced. This is the best motorcycle I have ever owned. The motor is worth every penny of the cost, like a big block chevy with two wheels. Absolutly love the paint, Build # 442
