    New riser solution

Yeah, not for everone, for sure, but there are a few looking to adapt their bikes more for sport touring, as I remember. I ran across the site while I was looking for some alternatives for my new SV650S. Had GenMar risers on my Busa.

    New riser solution

Hey all, Been a while since I've posted here, having sold my Busa more than a year ago, but I recently ran across something that some of you may have some interest in. When I had my Busa, sources for handlebar risers were limited at best. Here's something that might work for a few...

    Thinking of selling the Busa

Oh yeah, that's it! I MUST get a lighter helmet. One of those expensive carbon fiber units. I now have "medical" reasons to buy one! You are a genius AzBooSa!

    Thinking of selling the Busa

I've got the 1 1/4" Genmar riser on now. Put it on soon after I got the bike. It's worked great for two years.

    Thinking of selling the Busa

Good advice. Only I took Alive before my rides each day and I already own the cruiser. Just hate the thought of resigning myself to cruiserdom. Got the need for speed! Maybe there is an illegal drug that won't impair my riding or a surgeon in some third world country with a miracle procedure?

    Thinking of selling the Busa

I'm in denial. I love my Busa. The speed, the torque, the legend, and oh yeah, the pain. Just got back from The Gap and all of the wonderful mountain roads in the area. My second trip. Did about 350 miles a day for 3 days. Loved it... except for the intense pain in my neck. I was diagnosed...

deal's gap anyone want to go soon ?

I just got back from there. Love the NC and TN mountains. Was a little crowded this time. Deals Gap was a circus. Too many bikes, lots of Harleys. I imagine that it will be more crowded next month because of the Fall colors. If it's crowded, which it will likely be, just slow down and enjoy the...

    Busa wins wind tunnel shoot-out

Just back from "the Dragon". During some down time I read an interesting article in the newest edition of "Sport Rider" where they tested several bikes, including the Busa and the ZX14 in a wind tunnel. After all these years, Busa is still the slipperiest! That 14 is one bad mofo still.

    New pilot powers

I bought a set of Pilot Powers 6 months ago and just had them mounted last week in anticipation of my trip next week to The Dragon. Maybe I should have waited to buy the new PP's? Anyhoo, I love the way these tires handle. As mjn stated in his post, the bike handles like it is much lighter and...

    Dragons tail

Headed there next week myself. Did it last year and had a blast. Really enjoyed some of the other roads better than I did the Dragon though. Too crowded. Blue Ridge Pkwy, Foot Hills Pkwy and some other roads were my favorites.

    Funny golf stories

For the golfers, active or not, what's your funniest/weirdest golf story? I have a few, but another thread about a defective softball bat reminded me of this: I used to be a rabid golfer. Not so much any more, but at the time I was obsessed with lowering my score. Played a lot, watched...

    Electronic cruise control

I was waxed at the dealer...

Took the Busa into the dealer for service today. I know a lot of you guys disdain this practice, but these days I don't have time to do it myself, so the dealer gets it. At least I have a receipt! Anyhoo, I get the bike home after the short ride from the dealership and I'm looking it over...
