My helmet no longer fits in the standard lock under the cowl because I have Corbin Beetle Bags installed. Anyone can give me some suggestions for a good helmet lock? the only ones I've seen so far are the Motion Pro http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/partno/11-0006/ and the HelmetLok...
I just followed the instructions in the owner's manual and there was not mention of standing the bike upright to drain the oil out. But I wrote that step down for next year's oil change!
Wow! Awesome video! That is what I figured that there was some leftover oil that I could not drain out. This Scavenger system seems to be for Harleys only. Is there any way to completely drain all the oil out?
I changed the oil and filter yesterday. Checked the level through the gauge on the side and it was nice and clean, like maple syrup. Started it up for a few minuted to check for leaks at the filter and drain plug and it was OK. Stopped the engine and checked the level again and now the oil...
I agree it is far from worthless, but I cannot program the PC without the 9V Battery adapter because I have to update the old firmware on it first and the bike can't be running when I do that. I need a USB cable to hook the PC to my laptop. And the two missing port covers keep the wet and dust...
I agree that I am lucky that it is really only a minor issue for a few spare parts that don't really cost a lot. I am just surprised that the seller won't step up and at least offer to pay half based on principle and honesty. But it doesn't surprise me that much because his email starts with...
I just received a Power Commander III USB that I bought off an unnamed and probably not a regular member of this board. I recieved it and hooked it up no prob...but when I looked in the rest of the box there was no USB cord, 9V battery adaptor, expansion port or USB covers. I wrote back asking...
I just installed a Scorpio SR-I900 on Saturday and a Power Commander yesterday. This morning I went to start my bike and it only turned over two or 3 times and then went dead. I tried it a couple more times and it only cranked over once. I checked the battery voltage and I got 11.4 V. Could...
Well, I just got through installing my SR-I900 with perimeter sensor and ignition disable and.....nothing happens....just as I figured. I don't think there is any power going to the Main Control Module. The taillight is always on too so it is obviously the wiring. I bought the bike used and...
While attempting to install my Scorpio SR-I900 today I came across some plugs and wires which seem to have no use so I was wondering if someone could identify them so I know what their purpose is.
The first pic is a fuse that is connected to the battery with a length of wire and a plug and...
