Thanks, your advice is very appreciated, I’m also thinking it’s a good idea.
One thing I noticed is when I walk up to the ZX14 the radiator is one of the first things you see, but on the Busa you don’t seem to notice the radiator. That’s what got me thinking about a radiator guard.
The radiator on my ZX14R is a more exposed than on my Gen3 Busa so I’m thinking about installing a radiator guard like the one pictured below. How many of you have had radiator damage from rocks and such? Would you install one on your motorcycle?
That’s funny! You do have some funny comebacks. Lol.
My neighbor is a retired airline pilot and he also has funny comebacks. He once said “when it’s your time it’s your time, and when it’s your pilots time it’s still your time” lol
Regular gas in Lakeland Florida is 3.49/gal
93 octane ethanol free is 4.49/gal
Gas is the only thing reasonable cost around here, everything else is through the roof.
Lol I’ve had that same reaction out of people when I put it around my neck.
My dad used a giant screwdriver to pinpoint alternator, water pump, power steering pump etc noises, he would put his thumb over the handle end and put his thumb knuckle in his ear and the flat end of the screwdriver...
I have the same one, I pull the end out and that gives me a vacuum hose in both ears. I recommend the vacuum hose trick because most don’t have an automotive stethoscope like we do. They definitely come in handy.
I use mineral spirits and chain wax but kerosene and chain wax is also a great combination and I would use it. I use mineral spirits because that’s what I use in my parts washer and I just soak a rag and squeeze it out.
