Sorry for the late reply. I bought a longer bolt and made a spacer. Removed the factory bolt and and used the longer bolt/spacer to attach it to the crank. Set the pointer with a TDC stop. I tend to go to great lengths, to make sure my base timing is 120% accurate.
I can't remember the micron size, but it's basically a stainless steel screen before the pump and for gasoline a paper element after. The only thing the pre pump filter is doing is protecting the pump, the post protects the injectors/regulator. 40 pre and 10 post sticks in my mind.
Just a wild...
Going to the regulator before the rail wouldn't deadhead the pump, it's still bypassing to the tank to maintain pressure. IMO the regulator should be at the very end of the flow path, that way you're circulating excess fuel through the rail and helping carry heat away. I would also think that...

Areoquip startlite hose and earls hose ends. The bracket is from aeromotive. You cut the end of the hose and attach the hose end by screwing it inside the retainer thingy, it's really simple. I am a firm believer in the...
Not on a bike, but I switched from a 3 port to a 4 port on my car. I couldn't get a wide enough boost range on the 3 port without a spring change (PITA). On the 4 port I have run from 12PSI to 56PSI with 10lb gate springs and manifold pressure. I do boost by time and need to launch the car at a...
My question was a little misleading I think. I am setting up a QS, not an airshifter. I went back and looked at a datalog. Best I can tell it takes about 63ms before it's actually in the next gear, with no activation delay. I adjusted to 65ms kill time with a 10ms activation delay. I think that...
That sounds like a good (fun) problem to have! Do you have any idea how much boost it's actually making in the lower gears? If you're not able to get it close to spring pressure, you might have a bit of a header design problem. I don't have any experience with the increase/decrease style boost...
I may be wrong, but I would assume: Black/Blue/Yellow = 17.40, Black/Blue = 11.60. The yellow would be adding 5.8 PSI. Maybe they don't recommend just running a small diameter spring by itself?
