Yea when u turn the key to on position an have ur engine switch on ur pump primes the fuel system. I must of misread but u did say when u start it the pressure goes back up correct? It looks like according to ur original post ur just concerned with the pressure dropping after the pump primes?
Granted they only did "200 miles" you don't know how they rode it for 200 miles. Keep ur mind at peace. Everything will need maintenance unfortunately. Not like u sold it knowing of problems. Not ur fault
If ur turning the key and the pump is priming then yes ur gauge will jump to where it's suppose too. After it's primed (bike not running) then yes it will drop because there is nothing to keep the fuel flowing. Once u start it ur pump injectors and a/f is pushing it through so it will go back up.
I hear ya. I am sorry to hear about what happen to u as I read it cpl weeks ago and def glad ur ok. But yea def frustrating when I realized I was out of room hahaha. As always everything could be way worse and I appreciate everyone's input.

So I'm stretched about 10.5 bought new master link have a 150 link chain only removed 2 links when I originally installed my extensions and new chain last year. Tire rubbed through the tail light so I thought today would be a good day to remove a couple links and not be as far back as I am...
