Right now iam spraying a .36 jet at 8k rpms at 100 percent.

Would it be safe to start it at 6k rpms but ramp it in?

It all depends? What can your engine handle? N20 is just more horsepower! If your internals are able to withstand 300 HP don't squirt 100 HP on an engine making 225HP. The HP ratings are not usually accurate on N20 but more of a guideline. Similar to a turbo, make sure your rings are gapped properly if you are squirting or you can butt your ring gaps. Again, squirt when your chassis and riding capabilities can handle it. 1500 RPM or 11000 RPM? Progressive discharge is good if you are applying a larger amount, same as a AMS boost controller is for a turbo. Accurate fuel delivery is important, pay attention to your spark plugs, they will tell you the story.
