Ride pics thread.........

CBX any zrx guys out there today ? Also what is the DOT # on your PR 2 ? A few guys I know bought them recently but date codes were 2 to 3 years old . I just had pilot power 3 for front , and Pilot Road 4 come in from Bike bandit for my hayabusa . Both slightly less than a year old .

I also had your same tank bag . Loved it :) to bad after 11 years she wore out lol

Didn't see any ZRXs, mostly 'adventure' bikes, a couple big BMW GTLs, a huge new Indian and this ancient hand shifted Indian. Warming up tomorrow so I'll head to the coast again, maybe south thru the Big Sur area south of Carmel. Oh, the date code on the PR2 from B Bandit was in late 2014, not too old, about a year and a half, cost just $165. I actually use the tank bag as a cooler. I put the waterproof cover inside upside down and layer one sheet of frozen ice (fake ice) add a couple or three bottles of water or soda and cover them with another sheet of faux ice. Pull the drawstring and zip it closed. Then, whenever I want to stop in the middle of nowhere I can still have a cold beverage. Lasts all day!

Thanks.

I have a little moan about its small 16.5ltr tank and poor pillion facility's but after 8 years its still here, I always come home with a mile wide smile so its doing some thing right.
Inside the tank of the GSX1400 it had a long 'neck' which stiffles the filling somewhat, it has a small hole near the top that lets air bubble back out, a friend discovered if
you grab a punch and open up that hole you could pump in another 3litres maybe more i cant quite remember but it greatly increased our range, wondering if the King
has a similar long filler neck that could be manipulated as well ?
BTW are they staintune pipes and hows the PP3 lasting ?

Yeah, staintunes. Not my first choice but I have other bikes that take priority and the Mrs bought them when they were discounted. I have 3 other bikes running Yoshi cans or full systems. The stainless Staintunes don't sound as deep and have a slightly sharper more metallic sound. Build quality is good.

I'll check the mileage on the PP3 but its still quite low. I've been using the GSX1400 more recently. PP3's feel OK, no complaints o far.

Got off today unexpectedly so made use of it . Got to see some deer , a gator ( hiding in the water picture ) and some sky divers .

It wasn't too bad, a little windy! The day before I did a solo ride on the Busa and the wind was pretty strong, was throwing me around a bit!

Rode what's known as "The Loop" back on the 17th... it starts and ends in Victoria (British Columbia, Canada) and passes through Sooke, Jordan River, Port Renfrew, Lake Cowichan, Duncan and Mill Bay along the way... took about four hours, including lunch and photo stops.

Yup. Removed the eBay bar end mirrors and reinstalled the stock mirrors and bar ends. Also changed the levers as the original owner had filed off both ball-ends as he didn't like the look... *rollseyes* ... guess he liked the post-crashed look better!
