Brake pad question.

I think that I know the answer but here goes. While putting on new rear brake pad I am having problems pushing the pistons back into the caliper. They will push back but close up by themselves before I can get it over the rotor. My first thought is to open up the bleeder valves and let the pressure off but it's late and I quit for the night before I ding up the pads.

You have too fluid in the system...open up the bleeder to drain some out. Then push the pistons all the way into the caliper...reinstall it. Afterward check the fluid level.

I've always been able to compress the pistons back into the calipers.
