I had a couple of my old pals from the police department come give my new Laser Jammer a workout. From everything I've read the hardest gun to defeat is the "Stalker Lidar", so we tested this one last....... Just like the magazines said 100% invisible to laser from about 300 feet and out. When we finally tested the Stalker against my jammers (I have both, Bel Laser Pro 904 & Passport Escort ZR3 Shifter) it was music to my ears/wallet! Only using one jammer at a time the Hayabusa gave me almost 10-20 seconds of warning before he could lock a reading on me. This brought my speed down from roughly 65mph to around 19mph (head-on test). Could of come to a complete stop if I had really wanted to, but I just kind of let off the throttle. Next we tried a blind curve, same results the guns had a hard time locking on the bike without a jammer. With the jammer on a person has plenty of time to bring your speeds back down to no ticketville.........
My personel feelings about both jammers is they do exactly as described. Oh yea, after the test I installed one on my truck and left the other on the bike. One minor drawback to the Bel LP 904. If you use this on the bike you have to plug in all three monitors (I only used two) So you have to place the third in your trunk........ Not so with the Escort! I spoke with several of the techs at Bel and a software engineer who are feverishly working on a solution......

Very cool... Do you know if they are legal? Or what states they are legal in? Please follow-up with a web site for them too.

Thanks, Vaughn.

A couple of other sites that ran tests.

Who makes them..........

Both systems can be purchased on line for under $349.00 Not hard to install, just takes a little time.............

I think that because of the size of the average motorcycle your protection is greater than that of a car. Seems to be harder to get a return signal. The way I installed mine on the Busa made it entirely possible to remove at a later date and there would be no trace of it. Took a while to come up with this.........

Neato! Can you post a topic in Mods and show some pics of how you did it? Along with tips for us "non-mechanically inclined" peoples?

Puuulleeeaaassseeee...

Picture update....I've tried for almost two hours now to upload some photos. Camera is giving me alot of grief, I'll try latter to add some photos.......

Since the two front modules are smaller I opted to use both of those. One on the front and one on the rear........

Yes, the PNI detector did pick the signal up..... Same with the Passport 8500. However, note that the target aquirement of the Stalker gun is so fast you would have very little time to react........ The gun is capable of getting a reading on the Hayabusa (head on) almost as fast as you can pull the trigger! Headlights had no effect on the guns ability to target my speed. With the Jammer on the gun was confused.........

KS....what are you doin' on them Canadian colors ?

Before ya know it you''ll be sayin' " Eh " , eatin' back-bacon , buildin' igloo's , an' playin' hockey .

You would think with all the fancy techno gear thats on the bike I couldn't get pulled over...............
WRONG, I forgot to take the tape off the plate before I drove the Busa! Don't try this as I've already tested it! Test results are in and my findings say "You Will Get Stopped"................

Thanks for the info.
It's always nice to get good input for all of our gain.
Thanks again,
