Cool

I thought I'd share this with my new found "bike" family....(since I have more computer time now....)

I had to do one of our another first for me and my fiance' - see her off to go to the desert. It sucks!!!! Not trying to get mushy on you guys but she truly is my best friend and besides telling her, I felt like telling the whole world that I already miss her and that she stays safe out there - come back home, safe, and soon!!!

So for those of you that don't mind praying for others, please pray for all my military brothers and sisters, regardless of branch, and maybe one extra for my baby

All the best to your fiancee man, I couldn't imagine the feeling of sending my fiancee overseas. What is her trade ? May she serve us well.

cwaybusa - your heart is definitely in the right place, so please don’t take this wrong.

Just my two cents.. some thing’s are better left unknown.

I mean there is danger everywhere over there. If KoolKat's fiancée is in an area that is more dangerous than others, there is nothing he can do about it. But knowing this will just make him more stressed, more freaked out, more worried which will have a negative impact on his health, ability to function at work, at home etc.

The only possible good that could come out of it is he would spend more time on his knees praying, which if he does that anyway then he should have some peace.

I hope my perspective isn’t taken wrong. It is just I am 42 years old, I spent 10 years in the Marines and now I work for DOD and for me, one thing I have learned (a personal truth that I hold near and dear to me), is there are a lot of things that are best just left unsaid, unknown, because knowledge of some things cant do anything but cause more stress and anxiety.

Cwaybusa.. keep your head lo bro.. and thanks for being over there for us.. I can’t imagine the frustration that is being felt over there. It probably seems like no matter what you all do, you are on the short end of the stick…Your somewhere you probably don’t want to be, you are somewhere that the locals probably don’t want you there, it probably seems like your hands are tied preventing you from getting the job done effectively. Bad situation…. But an important one…. All these people that are fighting you all, and kidnapping people and beheading them, what that is doing is showing the world what potential is out there and how infested the world is with these sick fuggs

It is just like we have shined a light in a dark place and all the cockroaches are running around in a frenzy.. That is what these “militants” are, nothing more than cockroaches that have come out now that the light has shined on them.

They are fricken whimps and little roaches. Come on, they are on video tape, one guy tied up and four guys standing behind him, and the four “militants” are always wearing masks over their faces so you cant see who they are. They have no honor, they hide like the roaches they are. When they die, it will be without honor, their God will NOT honor their life, there are confused and misled and their hearts are hardened, they don’t deserve an honorable death. They should be beat to death with the entrails of pigs and sodomized by hounds from hell.

And if anyone says that the old Iraq regime had nothing to do with terrorists, then why are there so many over there causing problems? They were either in Iraq in the first place, or they were close by and have taken up refuge there.

KoolKat - Just start every morning praying and asking God to watch over her and protect her it will give you more peace and show God how important she is to you.

Fellas,
I wannna' thank all of you for your prayers, thoughts, and pointers. I've been in for 12yrs and unfortunately can say, "I've seen it ALL!!!". I work at "THE" hospital for all our down-range brothers and sisters coming in. Be it from sports inuries (yes, some of them do get some down-time), to civillian victims, and last but certainly not least our soldiers, marines, and airmen. Some are slightly injured and some are so bad a grown ass man will shed a tear. I've been here doing this from the day we got started, it has let down some, but visual has NEVER changed. No matter where my baby is, I learned real fast - no place is safe except for heaven!!! God willing, it won't be here time for that yet. Everyone has made excellent pointers, Trasher covered it right on the money on what it's like to be a military member at times, and what it's like to be in the "sandbox". Let's welcome ALL our military members home with a big celebration when they do, honor all - Fallen or just returning, and help everyone adjust that we can in their time of need however we can.

Thanks a million once more! It is a true blessing that strangers can come together and seek a similar POSITIVE goal (even prayer envolved )

KoolKat
