Man was I surprised considering the track layout . Looks like Yamaha found some hidden HP since last week . It appeared to have had some HP on Pedrosa's Honda . Pedrosa went into turn 1 in the lead . Rossi passed and then lead the race to the finish . Hopkins was cooking ... cooking was his downfall . Whats new there ? Stoner , well he got passed by a couple from the home country there . Was not quite right in how it was done IMO but he finally got around them and placed 5th coming from way back in the field . Rossi is still the man * The points are tight ..... Maybe cams , maybe cam timing . Maybe they could just use a better fuel map @ Jerez without running out of fuel . Who knows , on the long drag race straight #26 Honda was only one close enough to make this guess and light weight Dani could not get it done today . I am more than a little surprised at Capriossi's first two results since he's a Ducati old timer . |

Even with the smaller straight, the Yamahas were way down in the standings when it comes to Top Speed on the straights. They were just that much faster in the corners and on the brakes. ______________________________________
