Default The Great Divide Ride - Rocky Mountain High

The goal here was to ride up the Great Divide and hit as many of the 10000+ foot passes as possible. We neglected to get photo's of Wolf Creek Pass. Bummer. From Boise, we rode south through Nevada, across the western Utah desert, across Utah 12 (on the top 10 motorcycle roads of all time), into Colorado at Cortez, up the Great Divide, back into Utah at Vernal, Flaming Gorge, Wyoming through Star Valley, back into Idaho to Idaho Falls, and home.

Six days for about 2300 miles.

We met two Hayabusa brothers in Buena Vista... one from Arizona and the other from Nebraska. Are you two guys on this forum?

Great trip - I was just out in Ely myself last weekend for a rally. The road below looks like the section on US 50 going across the Great Basin between Connors pass and Sacremento pass. I am sure there was no speeding
