you know, not centered. like, off to the right. centerline of the wheel≠centerline of the bike

i'd love a 240 tire with a 2 inch stretched swingarm. if i could find a centerd one, i'd start saving

all of our 240 kits are centered....except the busa, this is because the frame
is so close to the chain on the stock bike....if you go look at the distance between your chain and frame you will see there is almost no clearance....even with your stock chain and tire. centering the rear wheel is very easy however, it just requires grinding a little more on your frame for chain clearance. we have wheel spacers that are optional that move the wheel to the left a little. but all of this is not necessary, the way our kit comes, you cannot tell that the wheel is 1/4 off to the right and does not effect handling.

grinding how much on the frame tho? could one get a bike mounted jackshaft setup? i honestly don't mind the whole jackshaft thing, but grinding a significant amount off of the frame or having the tire offset would drive me bonkers.

I have a jackshaft set up on my 330.....for a 240 you dont want a jackshaft. Trust me......just grind the frame for a 240.

can someone post up a pic of HOW MUCH needs to be ground off? does grinding off said piece of frame weaken it at all, cause it be more susceptible to degradation?

The think the grind is only an 1/8 - 1/4 deep into the frame. Will it weaken it?.....Suzuki didnt make the frame that thick for a reason? I have talked to several that have the 240s and grinded the frame, put on several abused miles and have had NO issues yet.

When intalling...mark the frame at the location fo the stock chain before removing it. Then you know the area to grind before intalling the arm and new chain. Just a hint.
