we know, that's why we have been working hard developing kits at the best prices available. believe it or not, most companies have raised their prices this year.....we are doing everything to lower ours! we were shocked, to say the least, when we got our new 2009 price lists from RC Components and Performance Machine last week.

I have a better idea. I'm a 14yr welding fabricator (AWS certification in over 15 different processes), how about exchanging some man hours for a swingarm, I'll fly to you!. That kit is sexy as hell!!!

being that this kit is new-i have to ask, how much testing was done on it?

If i installed this on my bike, it'd have to hold up to repeated strip visits along with some 'hi-speed jaunts' *65mph is high, right?* and be able to handle hauling a 220+ lb. rider w/a 100+ lb. passenger for long trips as well-I need an arm that can 'do it all'.

will this SS 240 arm need some underbrace, or can it handle everything as pictured above?

we are actually in the process right now of changing the TX-1 arms to aluminum. we are making the switch for production reasons.....but yes, all of the arms we make will hold up as well as any of the other models.

I am curious to know the rough estimation of durability and the life span of the new aluminium ones.Since they are lighter and more fragile compared to the steel.Is it able to withstand big and huge impacts like pot holes,high speed bumps and etc.Cause the place i always travel have very bad road conditions.

MOSTs arms are NOT steel. They are alloy....much like your stock arm

our 300 twin-drive arms have an unlimited life span....improper chain adjustment is the only issue we have seen.

looks really good. Will you guys maybe offer a bare metal one at even lower price. This way someone could have it powder coated different colors or even go with a black chrome finish?

i think the 240 kits must be the most popular "fat tire" around.
