Manhunt launched after WSP trooper shot to death near Seattle | KPIC CBS 4 - News, Weather and Sports - Roseburg, OR | - Roseburg, Oregon | News

A washington State Patrolman was shot and killed this morning around 1:00AM during a routine traffic stop.

This happened only few miles from me. Sad to see this happen and hopefully the culprit will be in handcuffs soon?

I hate to hear stories like this one...guy just doing a routine stop and it ends with him being murdered. What really sucks about these cases, the murderers are usually on probation or harboring something stupid in their vehicles and don't want to get busted; hardly worth a man's life, nor is their life going to be better for what they did...

Where do you see that? It says 'swat heard a single gunshot. They found a man inside with a wound and took him to hospital. His condition is unknown'.

RIP Officer. Those guys do have one of the worst jobs in the world and this happens far too often.

Now the perp is probably going to be a vegetable on the taxpayer dime for the rest of his life.
