Some of the folks at these shops don't know much.
I went to our closest auto paint and body supply shop to spray a bike. Walked in and told the folks behind the counter I do a lot of spray painting, but have not done automotive for a while. Asked them what I needed? They looked at me as if I was from another planet, had no advice whatsoever. I ended up going home and did all the research on PPG's site, then went back. They had everything in stock, but if you don't tell them exactly what you need, they have no idea.
