Whats up with the idle

On my 05 busa the idle tends to drop sometimes right now it is set at about 1300rpm every now and then it will drop back down to 1100-1000rpm and come back up, is this nomal or should i be worried.

Not sure about the 05, but I know my idle has dropped since I brought it home from the dealer a year ago. Mostly you just need to adjust the idle, shouldn't be too worried.

Yeah...Sounds like you just need to adjust it...

Bad thing is, on my '03 at least, the design is such that you have to raise the tank and the whole works every time you need to readjust it. Oh, well. I guess it's a good opportunity to clean the airbox, etc. while you're at it.

I bumped the idle up and it still drops maybe its just the way the bike is.

when you adjust your idle you should ajdust your TPS

Vibration sometimes causes the idle adjustment screw to back out. Nothing serious though.

My idle drop is due to dirt build up in the throttle bodies.
I clean them with injector cleaner every 4000 miles and the idle jumps right back up.
