here in NY i just wear many layers and go for it...lowest temp ive rode at is 34 degrees and it was a 1 hour trip to were i had to go...but when i left later in the day it had gotten to 63 degrees...
It really wasn't that bad... only thing I added to the regular gear was some under armor, and I made sure the quilted liner was in the jacket. Only thing that got cold was my chin underneath the helmet.
Was nice to get out and ride though! I just wish the roads were a bit cleaner.
"CHILLY" ?????......what is this word you use ????......
Way to get out there Brother...people think I'm nuts out in the desert at night in the Winter below 30 out here........ :oldcool: Right gear, good pilot, Hayabusa, and some good tunes....what else do you need ????......
i got out for a quick ride yesterday as well. i have ridden in the 20's before, but dont really like it colder than about 55, which is about what it was yesterday.
bike fricking RIPS at those temps though. holy cow...
