Anyone here live there, or close by?

Been retired for four years, started a business which is taking off and then out of nowhere an old contact gets hold of me with a job offer for a very large company.

Had meetings today, all very positive.

North Carolina has spoilt me, it is a paradise to live in by comparison.

Would love input from folks familiar with this area, bike routes, what do folks do in winter, summer, etc. ??????

Lived in Auburn many moons ago so I can't speak to what you can do for activities unless you like to ski then there is lots of that in the winter time. The weather sucks IMHO. Snowy and wet in the winter and the summers are not great at least compared to the midwest. I remember one fall where we didn't see the sun for 33 days strait. Hope that helps a little bit.
