I am not sure how many of you have seen the real wall, but this one travels around the country. I was very honored to be invited to ride 3rd in line in the Roar & Thunder in the Ozarks. A 25 mile ride as a tribute to the guys/gals that have paid the ulitmate price for our freedom. We had a full police escort and a chopper escort for the entire trip.

I have about 7 pictures so please wait until I get all of them posted before you comment.

Just wanted to add one more thing before I start posting pictures. For those of you that are my brothers and sisters in uniform thank you, God bless you and your families. For those of you that aren't, if you enjoy your freedom, thank a veteran not a politician.

Line of bikes - Altogether I think the line was about 4 miles long in one lane staggered.

Yep that's me in right there, one of 4 sport bikes to show up.

Good stuff! It was just here in Wichita Falls not to long ago. Alot of us active duty put our uniform on and escorted it through town... it was a big deal here. People lined the freeway over pass's just to see us ride by and wave! It was an honor to escort the wall to its viewing place.

I have been to the real wall 3 diffrent times. Twice in highschool and once last summer with a platoon of vets from the 173rd....all three times it was a moving experience. One of thoes things everyone should see at least once in their life.

New Mexico has one of the traveling walls that doesn't travel anymore. The wall is permanently up in Truth or Consequences, NM by the Veterans Hospital. Each year the Memorial park grows.
Every year there is a ride to the wall as well. This year my Brother and I plan on making the ride, we are both ex-Air Force and have been to the wall several times. We own some property down there and like to visit the park as much as we can.
Thank you to all Veterans and what you have done for the freedoms others take for granted.

That's awesome! I have yet to make my way to the wall and it's fairly close to me...I think it's something I want to do with my sons when they're a bit older and can understand why all of those names are up there...I'd also love to take my Dad there; he knows some of those lost
