tre

This is the web addy that I went to .....

http://www.sportsbike.org/bikes/technical/tre.htm

Was very easy......don't have to be a rocket scientist to install. Best thing I've done for the money.....cost me about nine bucks because I installed the switched version. Something not mentioned here....the resistors come in different wattage. Go with the 6800 ohm- 1/2 watt. You won't believe the difference......very smooth throttle response. Even makes it feel safer, I think. Good Luck.....you won't regret it.

The absolute best, easiest, weatherproof, OEM looking, most time-cost effective (OK you can do resistors yourself, but it probably won't look as nice or be as rugged as these) mod for this is available at:

http://www.pro-libertate.com

I can tell you they are only $25 plus a few dollars shipping, nice people, and a switchable one costs only $35, either product requires no cutting of wires. I have the switchable model, took 15 minutes to install.

No, I do not work for them. Just a satisfied customer.
:-)

Just my $0.02 worth.
