You guys have to try this if you have never had it before !!!!

4 lbs of Idaho potatoes, pealed, chopped and boiled till soft
1 stick of real butter
1 16 ounce container of sour cream
1 8ounch package of onion/chive flavored cream cheese (this is critical)
-salt and pepper to taste

Mash it all together and top it with chopped green onion and/or bacon bits (optional). You won't even need gravy. TRUST ME !!!! 'cause I got moves in the kitchen !!!!

Sounds good, thanks for sharing the recipe with us. May have to try that after the holiday season as there will be too much beer involved to try it during.

Sounds good, will save and try when I'm at my target weight!!

Thanks for posting, best regards Stretch.
PS will ordinary spuds do cos Idaho's a long way from home :banghead:

Stretch,
Any spud will work fine but Idaho whites have a higher amount of starch compared to reds or golden or yukon..... higher starch content makes a "fluffier" finished product. But again....any kind will do.

I bet that tastes really good but I'd discribe it as a "Heart Attack on a Plate"!

I'd weight in at 300 lbs plus if I ate like that!
