swap 99 for 08

i have a heavily customised 99 busa all body work different shape with a roaring toyz 300 arm and wheel 6inch over,i also have a new o8 can the body work and roaring toyz swing arm be swapped over ,i have a 1400 motor on the 99 but prefer the new 08 engine im not worried about puttting 08 body kit on the 99 just the other way any help appreciated before i start, also the top yolk on 99 can it be put onto 08 i ride daily but miss the impact the custom bike has as its a total 1 off

dunno if the gen2 gauge cluster would fit with gen 1 inners... May be a problem swapping fenders too.

gen 1 and 2 use basicly the same frame..it will work but you will have to use the 08 subframe upper fairng stay,rear peg brackets light etc..and like said the inner panel difference..

i know there a hole in the 08 side frame spar thats not there on the gen1s....

Anyone else know the difference in 99-07 frames vs the 08/09??

just the holes I mentioned to pop in the side fairings..there some micl bracket holes on the bottom but not needed..

in other words..a.99-07 frame will work if you ad the holes!!
