subframes collapse

Is it the actual subframe that's collapsing or are the hollow mounting bolts snapping? The 05 Busa I wrecked back in May had all the subframe mounting bolts snapped clean in half, I believe the bolts are designed this way (hollow) so that they break instead of the subframe or the main frame getting mangled & twisted.

Holy crap! this thread is only 9 years old, what are you guys trying to do to me.

issue was only for 1999/2000 model years correct? they went to steel...
 
We swap the STEEL Versions for alu.subframes with Dragracers in The Netherlands.

They want light subframes, and the touring drivers with DUO'S want STEEL Sub's

So problems are OVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR NOW.:bowdown:
