Will an 08-09 Subframe and tail plastics fit an 05?

Without modification, no. With engineering knowledge, the right tools and time you can make anything fit.

you will need everything from the rear of the 08. subframe, lights, wiring, hump, turnsignals, rear seat, and front seat.

i talked with a member here on the board who had done it, and according to him everything was a direct bolt up. Said there was a couple small things to take care of and move, but was nothing major and had plenty of room to move them where you needed.

Thanks, I just happen to have found a wrecked 08 with a bunch of left side forward frame damage. Whole rear end of bike is good so I think I'll buy it and use what I want and part out the rest.
