Stock Busa shock on a Bandit

Ok, before you rip me my screen name is a joke

I just know it will get attention here.

That said, I have transplanted a Hayabusa shock on to my Bandit. Can you tell me what the settings should be on the shock as far as preload, compression and dampening?

Right now I have lowered the preload to about 7mm of thread showing, 8 clicks out on compression, 9 clicks out on dampening.

FWIW, I am 155lbs soaking wet.

Well the shock setting are all dependent on your weight and riding style. Set the preload by measuring the static sag. If you search on Motorcyclist magazines website I think they have the procedure documented pretty well. Then you can just muck around with the rebound and compression settings until you find what works.
