Starting problem

The bike wont start and I get the error "chec". I've checked the fuses (both the main and ignition and fuel), I've checked the kill switch, the clutcher, the stand. Nothing. I've passed the chec control once and started the bike and after 10 sec it went off and the error "chec" came on! Any suggestions?

I am having the same problem, did you find anything out? My bike is in the shop now I'll keep you posted.

What year is the bike, you know there was a problem with the 2001 and 2002 starters. suzuki put out a bulletin Dec 12, 2002. And they will replace it for free in most cases. give us a little more info

Check page 5 of this area. under Crashed Bike won't start! by david 18. I printed it off and took it to the shop. I will advise on the outcome. It sounds like the problem we are experiencing.

Found it on my bike. It was damaged starter wires. I'm back and running.
