Jerry Springer, politician-turned-TV ringmaster, dies at 79

Just at the beginning of this week I was in a meeting at work and the situation got a little tense so I started pounding on a table and saying “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!…….. everyone busted out laughing and it diffused the situation. Always hated his show but many loved watching all the drama. RIP

Now to rewatch Ringmaster this weekend.

Fascinating guy. Intelligent and thoughtful so I always wondered how he resolved what he did on air. In a sad way, his show foreshadowed the lunacy in the political arena today.
