I had the PC3R power commander installed on my Hayabusa and the bike backfires occasionlaly when I down shift has anyone else experienced this or is this normal

Yes, I have a full Yosh. exaust 4 in 1

Yeah, I would recommend removing the PAIR valve if you haven't done that yet.

plug the hose going to the air box

I would have never thought about just cutting the air supply off. I thought that would have damaged someting, but it does make since. Thanks for the input

But, if you do choose to remove that useless PAIR system you can re-use the metal portion of the plumbing that comes off the block as four seperate nifty stir sticks
