picked up my new car wanted to share

in 3 MONTHS man!!!

that car is no joke...

1st was speedin 85 in a 55
2nd n 3rd- speedin 80 in a 55 n Op. after Susp.
4th was for Racing (it was garbage n I got it blown back to a def. speedometer like the others)

but seriously-at 55-60 when you "give it some gas" you're lookin at 80 before you can take your foot off....this thing still has legs at 150mph (no governor so shud go to 170...Im not checking) and runs off on just about everything-here's the list my wife racked up (with a lil help from yours truly)

Porsche 911
Mistubishi Evo VIII
Mercedes CLS 55 AMG
Mercedes E 55 AMG
Cadillac CTSV
Subaru WRX STI


only the Porsche ('04 or '05) n E 55 were drags from a stop...otherwise just fools who tried to pull on me or her while bored on I94 between Milw. n Chi.
 
are you the same guy i saw the video of doing dounuts on the busa in the snow ? if so it all makes sence you are a mad man !! lol
 
hey FATE-dont go after that STSV man...just looked at '07 at the autoshow here last week.

the Caddy has nicer quality materials inside, more leather on the doors n such-but only 44 more horses with a SUPERcharged V8

SRT8s go for 30s to 40s...only one that dips into the 50s is the Crossfire SRT


if you're lookin for mad horsepower, get the SRT...if you want a ton of leather n pimp-style...get a Beemer, screw tha Caddy.
 
Thanks BD, I love the ride of my Escalade and My grandfather has an SRX. I test drove the cts-V and liked the power but felt like they are a little cheap on the inside. Have not drove the STS, my wife saw one and liked the look. I love my 300C, been wanting to try out a SRT-8. Kind of want to wait til end of year to see a new Camero in Showroom.
 
Nice! It sure beats my Escort! But my busa will beat both, so it's all good.

Thanks for the info Mattyss! Car looks great! That is the one car I am considering in for awhile now. I am also thinking about a dodge quad cab truck with a big motor. Whatever they call them now. You can tell I haven't gone shopping yet. My problem is once I go shopping and get the itch I have trouble sleeping at night until its home in the driveway. LOL

But your car looks PERFECT!!! I saw your first mod in your linky above when I was going through those pics! Have fun with it buddy!!

Im waitn for a another good snow here to go try some in the 300, but its kinda a Catch22-need lotsa snow for nice tire-spinnin, but anything over 1" n the car handles for s**t....so I cant drive to any empty lots big enuf to do donuts in when there's eunf snow to do donuts in.

BMW is Pimp? No No No, It's those SRT-8s on the 20's that are the pimp rides Bro. Wherever I look, there's another "Looks Like Rolls" on Chrome 22s Thumping... All tinted up and slammed to the ground.

It's my goal to smile like a freak when my car finally shows up. I'll look like someones Grandmother driving around Grinning, waving at fools.

It's the only drawback to a bmw, the "expected crappy attitude of the driver." Thus, "Beamerweasel" OH OH and it's important to remember that it's "BIMMER" NOT "Beamer" cause it somehow matters to some of these die Hard Fanboys.


Cool Charger though, that red is intense. I have NEVER liked red cars until I drove this little red MazdaSpeed 3 a couple of weeks ago. It was like Dayglo red and was actually kind of fun. Only problem is that you are REALLY going to stand out in the crowd and with that Hemi Under the hood, your license could be in jeopardy.

Good stuff, I test drove a Charger last summer and was really surprised at how well it rode.

sorry I gave the Bavarian Motor Works (i forgot how to spell it in german...forgive me, I havent workd for them for ten years) the wrong 'rep'....didnt know it matterd.
my only point i was tryn to make was that a BMW would have been a better buy than a 70K Caddillac that only seats two grown adults at a time-id rather get an XLR for that money...but Id never buy an XLR n e way.

Testy? Me? No No No, My whole point was that the Bimmer Crowd was a little too uptight... hardley pimp at all. All twitchy and grumpy.

Don't go lumping me in there, YET anyway. Lesse if a new BMW turns me into more of a pr!ck than I already am. I am guessing that it wont.

Maybe I was sounding like Too much of a bobo in regards to your SRT8? Wasn't meaning any harm, my point was that they come from the factory pretty much pimpilicious with the 20's and everything already.

So deep breath their Brother, I wasn't defending some over defended marquee.... At least not yet.

If weather is good tomorrow night i will be taking it the test and tune and englishtown raceway park in NJ to wear out the tires a little ill be sure to bring my wife with the video camera and if someone here helps me out ill try and post a video

also these cars come with something called a srt track experience which is a full day of doing a bunch of different racing type things with the nascar instructors from the richard petty race school it should be a good day and ill make sure to take a bunch of pics

bigdiesel do you do this with yours the track experance thing ?

extreemachine im in Nassau county every Monday to visit my god kids if you want to give it a try before you pull the trigger that would be cool by me .
 
they offered the SRT track thing at a Track in IL but it was during a weekend we both had to work-the next event was a month off n two states away-so I said forget it.

found out later that tha track was run in OTHER cars, not the SRTs, n when they did drive it was limited to a SRT Crossfire, Charger, Magnum, and 300-no Viper or SRT10 Ram. N they had instructors that didnt really do crap either-there's a big complaint about it on the 300 forum I think-read it in some SRT forum recently. But this year, they are doin the events with new tracks n new Race instructors so hopefully you will have a better experience.


Besides-this thing isnt built to be cuttin corners (even tho it does hold .89g), its built for straight-line destruction!

once things dry out n warm up here, I'll def. take her 300 to the strip-prolly run it right next to her '71 Chevelle Malibu!
