Oil capacity by manual versus reality?

addition to my post above:

what is really important is that the bike is vertical, especially in the transverse direction.
only a few degrees (4-5 or so) incline and there is no more oil level visible and it looks as if there is too little in it.
it's not that important in the longitudinal direction, because then the level is only slightly slanted in the viewing window, which can be "mediated" purely visually.

if you want to make it easy for yourself, look for a suitable spot at home with a leveling tool and mark it.
then by means of a main stand or a middle lifter, such as this one e.g. ,
jack up the motorcycle right there, and then check the oil level.

you should check the level every 2500 km anyway and where is that better than at home / in ur workshop? ;)

i do that with my middle jack on my fixed and leveled lifting platform ;)

I have an obsession with the level of the oil in all of my vehicles.
I am not saying i am doing the right thing but i just share my habit
I always check the oil level when the bike has been left overnight.
I prefer the level to be just a bit below max so that when the oil is
warm and expanded to be on the max.
I have checked it many times and in order to achieve that needs 3.5 ltrs
with oil filter change.
I use a small box that will stand next to the eye inspection sight and i place my GoPro on it
I have the camera connected with my mobile phone so i see what she sees.
I get on the bike and i have a level gauge on the tank reservoir to see the level to be as should

never a problem , with side stand still down, bend down to knees and pull bike off the stand until it starts falling
balance point easy to see on sight glass

in case use your body as a defence to stop the bike toppling over

then push bike away back to side stand
