Not a Busa but a Suzuki issue

I bought my daughter a 95 GSXR 750 and it ran rough when I got it (got a good deal). When I brought it home I tried to restart it for her and now there is no spark. I tried a coil from a GSXR 600 I have and still no spark. I checked the wiring as far as I can tell visually its OK. I also visually checked the pickup and timing rotor they seem OK. Lastly I found power going to the coil, from the wiring plugs so there is power to the coil. Now the battery was dead so I hooked my battery charger to it and tried turning it over that way. It did turn over plenty fast, but I am going to pull the battery from my Busa thinking that maybe amps are to low???? THe ignition switch is messed up so I am jumping a wire from power to the plug for the switch maybe I need power to additional wires? Keep in mind he had it running just by wiggling the wires on the bottom of the existing switch. I have no spare ECU, but I think I can borrow the pickup from the 600 and try that. Any other ideas?
